"Adventurous, rich and an overall pretty epic experience"
a wild weekend TO INSPIRE LIFE
21st -23rd April 2023
Dartmoor
"It's ignited a flame, it's an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life."
We're passionate about working with young people, and providing a supportive space for healthy exploration of self, other and the natural world. We do this through providing mindful adventures in wild places, focusing on the journey. We know that human and whole-planet health and wellbeing benefit from being outside. And that this is more important now than ever. We've been honing our approach to these Wild Weekends for RGS students for a couple of years now - and we can't wait to share the magic again in 2023!

"Incredible. A wonderful journey. We felt equally challenged and looked after. This was a great opportunity to reset after an incredibly challenging year for all, and we couldn't have asked for anyone better than the guys at The Living Project to take us on the journey."
safety and leadership
Comprehensive insurance with Activities Industry Mutual, robust risk assessment and management, and AALA licensing, together with our experienced and resourced leaders enables us to provide a unique space for students.
All our adventures are lovingly led by two experienced, qualified and heart-led leaders, and as well as our core team, we also partner with experts in fields such as foraging, re-wilding, conservation and sustainability, so we provide genuine breadth and depth to our adventures.
The weekend...
Well, it is a little "hippy"...
Arriving at one of our basecamps on Dartmoor on Friday evening, you'll be fed a wholesome evening meal and welcomed into the wild, before a good night's sleep.
Saturday sees us wake with some mindful movement and a hearty breakfast before preparing ourselves for adventure and heading out into the wild.
As we explore the wilds of Dartmoor we'll get the chance to explore some wild water immersion, muck about on rocks, and spend time journalling, drawing and reflecting on our experience.
Saturday night sees us enjoy a tasty meal round the fire, and if the weather's in our favour - getting our bivvi bags out for a night sleeping out under the stars.
The weekend's all about trying adventurous things that are magic for our wellbeing, and Sunday morning (after brekky) sees us listening to you, and getting involved with something you loved from the previous day's adventure - be that mindfulness, wild water, or a view from the high rocky tors.
After a final reflection and gratitude ceremony we'll send you on your way around lunch time so you're back in High Wycombe in good time for a Sunday night rest.
