Service Description

On this magical adventure, you are the pilgrim. You have chosen a journey with your own unique purpose, on foot, in a special place - The UK's last remaining wilderness. Led by Emily and Emma you'll be supported through the stunning mountain landscape of the Knoydart Peninsula. We’ll explore the remote, hidden gems of this magical land, as well as exploring powerful opportunities to refresh, and reconnect; with ourselves, with others, and with the stunning environment we explore. The journey sees us explore magical mountains, lush valleys, rivers, Caledonian pine forests, Lochs & special places. The Wild is self-willed so we plan and adapt our journey along the way to work in the safest and most magical way. We meet early in Fort William on Sunday morning and after a meet & greet we’ll head to the fishing port of Mallaig by road or train over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. From here we'll take the ferry to Inverie where we'll camp on Long Beach campsite, managed by the Knoydart Foundation and enjoy a meal in a local restaurant. From Monday through to Thursday we'll be immersed in the Wilds of the remote peninsula, sleeping in tents. We'll plan our route daily, and throughout the adventure we'll make time for journaling, mindful connection with self, other and the wild, wild swimming, wild yoga, fire time and nurturing conversation that supports our personal and group experience. As we emerge from the wild, in true pilgrim style we'll celebrate and give gratitude for our safe return. Our final night will see us enjoy some hearty food & drinks and some snug B&B accommodation. You'll leave feeling refreshed, reconnected with yourself, others and a truly wild experience. Inclusions: + All accommodation, (a mix of local accommodation (single/twin rooms), tents (single/shared), bothies + Transport from Fort William on Sunday and return on Friday + All meals + Snacks + hot drinks from some inspirational providers + Insurance Exclusions: + Personal kit (we do tent + food etc) - we send kit list and itinerary on booking + Alcoholic drinks (if you want them) + Celebration meal on our final evening together (Thursday evening) 30% deposit payable on booking (£292.50)
